BikeWest are proposing that as part of Maribyrnong Council’s Stony Creek Future Directions Plan the BMX track should be upgraded and expanded to become a small MTB park with a pump track. As has been shown during the COVID19 pandemic, cycling is more popular than ever and even the poor quality BMX track in Cruickshank Park is getting lots of use. Kids are even using the tennis courts as a cycle track when the nets are removed.
